After growing up in their parents’ original Radfield residential home and developing four company owned Radfield Home Care branches, franchisors and siblings, Dr Hannah MacKechnie and Alex Green launched the franchise opportunity in June 2016. In the first 18 months, six franchises joined the network to take advantage of their wealth of industry experience, knowledge and values-first approach – something that led Radfield to become the UK’s first B-Corp ethically accredited healthcare organisation.

Training

Our franchisee training programme is extremely comprehensive and tailor-made to each franchisee – two weeks of classroom and practical training at head office initially to support you with the establishment phase of your business, followed by further training at your location as your business launches and starts to grow. This training covers all aspects of the business; including marketing, business development, recruitment, client attraction, software use, business ownership and more.

Daily Life of a Franchisee

Your role will primarily be developing a private client base of older people requiring care,, whilst building a team of healthcare specialists managing the provision and standards of the services delivered. This will be achieved through networking and marketing within your territory, driving brand awareness and ultimately becoming an ambassador for care in your local area. This will include representing Radfield at local events through to advertising with local media and online.
